These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SCAD suite of applications and this website (the “Services”) provided by SCAD Inc. (“SCAD,” “we,” “us”), a company of the Tokyo Consulting Group. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
The SCAD suite supports all-employee management — sharing, checking, adjusting and executing improvement — together with related applications for strategy, standardization, evaluation, finance and work observation. A 14-day free trial (up to 10 accounts per app) is available for SCAD and Vistruction without the AI layer; paid plans add AI features and additional applications.
You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information, for keeping credentials secure, and for all activity under your organization’s accounts. Seats are for named individual users within your organization.
Current pricing is published on our pricing page. Unless otherwise agreed: the Pro plan is ¥50,000 per month per application including up to 50 accounts, each additional account beyond 50 is ¥1,000 per month, and a one-time initial setup fee of ¥100,000 applies. All prices exclude consumption tax. Payment is by credit card (processed by Stripe) or by invoice with bank transfer. Fees for a started billing period are non-refundable except where required by law.
Content your organization enters into the Services remains yours. You grant us the rights needed to host, process and display it solely to provide the Services. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the content you submit and for its lawfulness.
AI features generate questions, hints and drafts to support human judgment. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete; it is provided as reference material only, and your organization is responsible for all decisions made using it. AI features never make personnel, financial or business decisions on your behalf.
You must not: use the Services unlawfully; attempt to breach their security; reverse-engineer them except as permitted by law; resell them without our written consent; or upload content that infringes third-party rights.
The Services, including software, design, logos and documentation, are the property of SCAD or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
We work to keep the Services available and secure, but they are provided “as is” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify features with reasonable notice of material changes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Services is limited to the fees paid by your organization in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence.
You may stop using the Services at any time; paid subscriptions end at the close of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms that is not cured after notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute arising from the Services or these Terms.
